Luxury operator opens Japan office

Abercrombie & Kent is to open a dedicated office in Japan after seeing 'explosive growth' to the destination in the last two years.

China managing director Kath Fok said the growth has been in both luxury small group travel and tailor made private travel.

"We felt it was important to have our own dedicated office in Tokyo to manage the complex logistics of travel throughout the country and guarantee the insider access and personalised service that Travel Advisors expect from Abercrombie & Kent," he added.

Running the office will be A&K Japan country manager Hatsuko Tsujimura, who brings more than 12 years of experience in the travel industry.
