Asia specialist looks to grow sales through agents

London-based Asia travel specialists Experience Travel Group (ETG) has appointed Abi Northage as its first ever agents relationship manager.

The role has been created after 20% growth in bookings from travel agent partners in the past year, now accounting for 17% of the company's business.

The company hopes this new position will lead to further significant growth in agents' bookings.

Northage, who has been with ETG for a year in a customer-focused role, takes on her new role this week.

Before joining ETG she was a cabin service director at British Airways before moving to BA's head office as innovations learning and design manager and trainer.

With this appointment, agents will have a focal point for queries and can receive dedicated marketing collateral and resources, online webinar and training support, and opportunities to have dedicated face-to-face meetings with ETG consultants.

ETG features holidays across Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Malaysian Borneo, Burma (Myanmar), Maldives, Indonesia and India.
