Passengers get hint of Cathay's business class improvements

Cathay Pacific is planning to roll out new perks to lure more business class passengers.

Long-haul business class travellers will get added comforts such a thin mattress topper pad and slippers, in addition to the existing duvet and pillow, according to the South China Post publication.

New amenity kits will also be launched.

The airline is keeping quiet on the enhancements, but it has said an upgraded business class experience will be offered later this year.

It is part of the airline's new brand messaging called 'Move Beyond.'

The enhancements will also include a big revamp of of its inflight entertainment.

It includes an eventual upgrade to 4K quality screens over time, and will reputedly offer the largest range of content by any Asian carrier.
