Wizz Air adds more routes from Luton

Wizz Air UK, the UK-based, wholly-owned subsidiary airline of Wizz Air Holdings Plc, celebrates the first anniversary of its launch, with the start of two new services from Luton.

The new routes are to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bergen in Norway and the port city of Thessaloniki in Greece (pictured).

This summer, Wizz Air UK is set to become the largest airline at Luton.

Since launching in the summer of 2018, Wizz Air UK's Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 aircraft have grown from one based aircraft to 11.

Both routes operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, starting today, July 1. Fares start at £22.99 for Bergen and £24.99 for Thessaloniki.

Wizz Air UK managing director Owain Jones, said: "Today WIZZ offers 59 services to exciting destinations across Europe, now including Bergen and Thessaloniki."

He added the airline is holding a series of cabin crew recruitment days.
