Global Travel Group launches LGBTQ+ initiatives







Global Travel Group has unveiled a range of initiatives as part of a focus on the 'LGBTQ+ market.

It is sponsoring Chester Pride 2019 and is promoting its first-ever set of Pride deals to members.

Operators are being asked to provide discounted 'LGBTQ+ friendly' packages to properties and destinations that welcome LGBT travellers, which can be tailored for inclusion depending on each retailer's location.

The agency group has created dedicated online content including emails, web banners and social media graphics.

Commercial director Cherie Richards said: "Global members pride themselves on being able to offer the best advice for all clients and this initiative is another way for them to show off their expertise.

"While LGBTQ+ couples holiday just like everyone else, it is important they can travel with confidence. Laws and attitudes vary around the world so it is important to get the best advice from the experts."
