Travel management company ATPI partners with Iraq travel agency

Travel management company ATPI has partnered with a travel agency in Iraq following a surge in the energy sector in the Middle East.

Through its relationship with Travel-Malls, ATPI Marine & Energy will provide clients with services such as travel documentation, including visas, local ground services and domestic flights.

Headquartered in Erbil, Travel-Malls will oversee all of ATPI's demand in Iraq for airline, hotel and airport transfer reservations.

The travel agency also has branches in other cities in Iraq such as Baghdad, Sulaymania, and Basra.

ATPI Group CEO Andrew Waller said: "This partnership comes after a surge in client activity in the energy sector in the Middle East and Africa, which meant it was important for us to find an experienced local partner to service our energy clients.

"Our presence in Iraq is critical to a lot of our clients and completes ATPI's holistic service in the region."

Travel-Malls CEO Alan Bahaulddin said: "We're excited to be working with such a widely respected global player as ATPI Marine & Energy. It's a fantastic opportunity for us to flex our skills, share our local expertise and contribute to the sector as it recovers and expands again."

ATPI already has service locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.
