Four Thomas Cook employees join Wendy Wu

Wendy Wu has hired four ex-Thomas Cook employees to expand its sales team and support the growing Hays network.

Thomas Cook regional manager Caroline Rennie has joined as head of inside sales and specialist business, while Thomas Cook's former top manager in the country Sandra Foreman has taken on the role of key account manager for Hays.

Caroline Burroughs, who was previously a cluster manager responsible for Thomas Cook's top two stores in Essex, has joined the specialist trade support manager.

Harry Ryan, a former Thomas Cook consultant, has joined as personal tailormade consultant.

All report to global sales director John Warr and will play an integral part in the operator's new three-year trade focus initiative.

He said: "Thomas Cook had an exceptionally dedicated and hardworking personnel and we are so pleased that we're able to open our doors to four of its top performers.

"Caroline Rennie will work very closely with our call centre and trade support teams to enhance our delivery whilst seizing new opportunities and initiatives for growth, all the time ensuring our service remains the highest in the industry.

"Sandra will play a key role in focussing on driving sales through the Hays consortia. This appointment shows our commitment to the newly formed Hays group.

"Our team of five business development managers will work closely with Sandra to continue to drive growth with the consortia.

Strengthening and developing agency sales will be the focus for Caroline Burroughs whilst Harry is a welcome addition to our growing tailormade team."
