Pilot, flight attendant banned after mid-air brawl

China's aviation regulator blocked Donghai Airlines from adding new routes, or increasing flights as punishment for an in-flight brawl between a pilot and flight attendant.  A violent altercation took place recently which led to one sustaining a broken arm.

Donghai Airlines had already suspended the crew members and the airline had fined some executives and management staff.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China said the pilot would have his licence revoked, while the flight attendant received 'corresponding administrative punishment.' The fight started after the pilot chastised the flight attendant because he didn't move a passenger out of the aisle so that the pilot could use the toilet.
