JetBlue rolls out new travel booking site

JetBlue has launched a new online travel platform.

Called Paisly, it is separate to its branded JetBlue Vacations website which offers inclusive flight and accommodation packages.

The new site will also offer accommodation as well as car rentals and other travel add-ons such as theme park tickets.

It will also add vacation rentals, said Andres Barry, president of JetBlue Travel Products.

It is targeted at JetBlue customers who have booked flight tickets and want to also book their other elements of their vacation separately such as a hotel stay or other

"We know there's a segment of customers who are not interested in buying their entire trip all at once before travel," Barry said.

Once a JetBlue customer books a flight, the company will send follow-up emails encouraging them to book hotels and activities.

It takes the flight information to make individually tailored suggestions to customers.

"We're just getting started with Paisly, but we see great potential for a very different kind of travel website that's centered on the needs of individual customers and offers truly great customer service," the company said.
