Rosewood Mexico City to open in 2024

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will open a new hotel in Mexico City in 2024.

Rosewood has been selected by real estate development firm Grupo Sordo Madaleno to operate Rosewood Mexico City, a new build property coming to the city's Polanco district.

Rosewood Mexico City will join the brand's collection of properties across Mexico, including Los Cabos, Riviera Maya and San Miguel de Allende.                

The hotel is designed by Mexico City-based architecture firm Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, and will occupy the grand tower of Antara's new build expansion.

Antara is a flagship mixed-use development which also comprises modern offices, luxury retail outlets, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

Rosewood Mexico City will have 133 accommodations, including 35 suites, F&B outlets, and an Asaya, wellness concept, which comprises two swimming pools, and a fitness and wellbeing center

It will also feature dedicated meeting and event spaces totaling 1,270 square meters.

The opening of Rosewood Mexico City will mark the company's 20th property in The Americas.

Rosewood's fourth Mexican property - Rosewood Mandarina - is set to open in 2023.
