Walt Disney World lifts mask requirement for vaccinated guests

Walt Disney World is scrapping the requirement for face masks in most areas, including indoors, for vaccinated visitors.

The eased rules take effect from 15 June. Disney says masks are still required for everyone when riding Disney transportation such as buses, the monorail and the Skyliner gondolas.

It is uncertain how it will be policed if at all, as Disney parks do not require visitors to show proof of vaccination status.

The new mask policy follows new guidelines in Orange County which ended all face mask recommendations a week ago.
