Loganair inks Teesside Airport codeshare agreement with BA

Regional carrier Loganair has announced a new partnership with British Airways, to maximise connectivity for passengers travelling to and from Teesside Airport.

A new codeshare agreement makes travel to various destinations faster and more efficient for the airlines' respective customers.

Customers are able to connect onto British Airways routes on a single reservation with baggage checked through to the final destination.

Loganair currently operates flights from the airport to London Heathrow which potentially connects more than 180 locations in 84 countries across the world via BA services.

The airline has an existing codeshare agreement with British Airways from other destinations across the UK.

Combined tickets are available to book from 22 June for travel from 1 July onwards.

Kay Ryan, Chief Commercial Officer at Loganair, said: "I am delighted that our customers, wishing to connect through London Heathrow to the rest of the world, can now do so by booking via British Airways on one ticket, with all the security and peace of mind that brings to international travel.''
