EasyJet cancels flights due to Manchester-Scotland travel ban

EasyJet is postponing new routes linking Manchester to Edinburgh and Aberdeen due to this week's ban imposed on non-essential travel between Scotland and Manchester.

The airline said it is 'no longer able to operate our planned new routes' as Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham seeks talks with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon over the travel ban.

EasyJet customers will be notified and offered alternative destinations or dates, or the option to claim a voucher or refund.
