Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line pushes back planned test cruise

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line postponed today's test cruise and is pushing back its planned restart date.

It halted the cruise after a vaccinated crew member aboard the Grand Classica tested positive for Covid-19.

"After confirming a crew member tested positive onboard, twe immediately implemented CDC Covid-19 protocols," the line said.

It is testing all work colleagues who have come into contact with the infected crew member.

Following the test cruise the cruise line had originally planned to resume commercial service on 2 July.

The test cruise originally planned on 28 June is a two-night round-trip from the Port of Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island with pre-selected, fully vaccinated passengers onboard.

It will now sail on 8 July with a new date of 10 July for its restart.
