Air New Zealand restarting US flights

Air New Zealand will resume long haul international travel later this year. It will restart flights to the US out of Auckland according to its new schedules starting on 31 October.

It will fly to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu and Vancouver with all routes operating three times a week.

  • Why would ANZ restart on 31Oct?

NZ hasn't announced a reopening date nor speculated on a reopening date nor even said what the conditions would have to be for them to reopen. No one besides ANZ apparently believes they will reopen for at least another year.
