Royal Caribbean extends Singapore season

Royal Caribbean announced it is extending the Singapore season again for Quantum of the Seas short cruises through February 2022.

It will mark more than a year sailing 'cruises to nowhere' from the city state.

To date, more than 80,000 passengers have sailed on over 60 sailings.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to extend Quantum's ultimate ocean getaway through early next year. Despite the constantly evolving circumstances, Royal Caribbean remains consistent in delivering a wonderful holiday experience," said Angie Stephen, MD, Asia-Pacific, Royal Caribbean International.

"Quantum has many fans in Singapore, and there continues to be an overwhelming demand for sailings."

Although it has not been mandated so far, the line says it will likely make vaccinations compulsory in the coming months as Singapore progresses with its vaccination programme.

Quantum is sailing three and four-night cruises to nowhere with a 50% capacity limit.
