All flights at Shanghai cancelled as Typhoon In-fa makes landfall

Major China air hub Shanghai cancelled hundreds of flights as Typhoon In-fa reached China's east coast at the weekend. All flights and about 100 train services were cancelled with residents ordered to stay indoors.

The region is on a level III alert with up to 14 inches of rain expected and winds of up to 95mph. Disruption is expected to continue for a few days. Nearly half a million people have been evacuated, according to the Henan regional government.
