Crystal Serenity adds Miami for embarkation on Bahamas cruises

To meet demand, Crystal Cruises has added PortMiami as an embarkation point for Crystal Serenity's Bahamas cruises.

Miami also becomes a port of call.

It begins on the 7 August departure from Nassau with embarkation from  Miami on 9 August.

The week-long cruises now have three points guests can embark at - Nassau, Bimini and Miami.

"By adding Port of Miami, we are giving travelers another convenient way to join these popular Bahamas cruises," said Crystal President Jack Anderson.

"The terrific response to our deployment of Crystal Serenity's Luxury Bahamas Escapes showcases the pent-up desire in cruising."

Crystal has mandated all guests over 12 years must be vaccinated but due to Florida law, it is making an exemption for guests who board in Miami.

Unvaccinated travelers will wear a red bracelet to help ship crew members enforce additional restrictions.

Unvaccinated guests must be pre-approved after initial waitlist, are subject to capacity control, and must provide proof of valid travel insurance.
