Hotels in overseas tourist resorts requiring proof of vaccination

With the delta variant fueling a new wave of Covid-19 infections in multiple countries, tourist-friendly businesses - including hotels, restaurants,and bars - are demanding proof of  vaccination.

In Mexico, Quintana Roo tourist hotspots such as Cancun are requiring guests to show proof of vaccination or a recent negative test result.

It is also extending to Mazatlan this weekend. Earlier this month, Portugal hotels began requiring guests to present their vaccination status or provide a negative Covid-19 test. A similar rule is in effect in Austria for indoor attractions, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues.
