Delta has no plans to mandate vaccinations for domestic flights

Ed Bastian, Delta's chief executive officer, says the airline doesn't plan to mandate vaccinations for domestic air travel as they are not fully authorized by the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA has approved the various vaccines for emergency use.

However, the airline does require new recruits to be vaccinated and Bastian told CNBC more than 73% of the airline's workforce is vaccinated.

"The vast majority of our customers are vaccinated, they're in a clean environment, they're fully masked," Bastian said.
