Qatar goes from Red to Amber after interview

Qatar, hosts of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and one of the fastest growing destinations in the Middle East, have exciting plans for further expansion over the next decade. We spoke to Phil Dickinson who heads up the International Development team about what those plans are and how the trade may benefit.

Hours after the interview was completed the news was released that the UK Government had moved Qatar from Red Status to Amber as part of their Covid-19 travel restrictions. Visitors from the UK to Qatar need to complete Ministry of Public Health online applications ( details on the Visit Qatar Website) which allows input of their vaccination details. Follwing this an entry permit is sent to them.
