Hawaii tightens Covid restrictions

Hawaii is tightening Covid curbs amid a surge in Covid cases but current entry rules for tourists remain the same. Restaurant and bar capacity has been lowered to 50%. It means 'no mingling and masks must be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking; said Hawaii Gov, David Ige.

He described restaurants and bars as high risk venues. He said Hawaii is reviewing its Safe Travels program, which requires all inbound visitors to present a negative Covid test or be fully vaccinated to avoid a mandatory 10-day quarantine.
