Riviera Travel cruises set to resume

Riviera Travel has confirmed its lineup of 2021 river and yacht itineraries as it resumes sailing in a week's time.

It kicks off on 20 August on Portugal's Douro River and offers Croatian yacht cruises from 28 August.

It returns to France from 31 August sailing the Seine to Paris and Normandy.

In September it operates Burgundy, the River Rhone & Provence sailings and Medieval Germany.

Sailings are available up to 22 November 2021, with departures exclusively for solo travellers also on offer.

Cruises include English-speaking crew, local guides, full board and complimentary on-board Wi-Fi.

To mark the return of its river cruise programme, Riviera has introduced a range of offers for guests who book a 2021 sailing.

All river cruises include complimentary inbound and outbound testing and a free drinks package.

It covers all restaurant draught beer, house wines, wine recommendations from the menu, non-alcoholic beer, soft drinks and juices.

An extra £100 off per person is also available for all voyages, and it has made available additional cabins with no single supplement .

Phil Hullah, Riviera Travel CEO, said: "As international travel continues to open up, we're delighted to be able to offer holidaymakers the chance to sail on some of the most picturesque rivers and seas of Europe again. We would like to thank the trade for all their support, as we appreciate the uncertainty that has surrounded travel and cruise during the past 18 months."

The offers are available on bookings made up to 30 September  2021.

Any sailings that don't depart as scheduled can be transferred to a later date free of charge, or guests can receive a full refund.
