Disney theme parks return to profit

Disney theme parks have turned a corner, posting its first quarterly profit since the beginning of the pandemic. It saw income of $356 million and cited the reopening of Disneyland Resort in California early in the quarter.

Revenue tripled to $4.3 billion in the quarter. I was also helped by increased capacity caps although it has recently reinstated the requirement to wear masks indoors.

Disney said it expects have its theme parks fully-staffed by the end of the year.
