Not Just Travel cruise training event to capitalise on seacation success

Not Just Travel is inviting agents to ride the wave of the cruise industry's comeback.

The company is hosting an in-person National Cruise Training event to capitalise on this consumer trend and further boost sales.

It comes as the company reports a quadrupling of cruise sales in April - August 2021 compared to the same period in 2019.

"This event is unique as it goes right back to basics, teaching our members everything they need to know about the diverse types of cruises and how to get the right people on the right ship. It will be fun and educational, and 150 new cruise experts will walk out that door, hungry and confident to sell," said Not Just Travel co-founder Steve Witt.

Cruise sales have been bolstered as a result of new to cruise customers taking advantage of the well-priced UK seacations.

This enabled them to enjoy the full cruise experience in British waters.

Consequently, Not Just Travel has received more forward bookings over the next two years than it has ever had before.

The first ever National Cruise Training event for members will feature nine trade partners who have come together to create a collaborative training plan for over 120 Not Just Travel members.

These are Gold Medal, Scenic, Emerald, Riviera, Oceania, MSC Cruises, Fred Olsen, NCL, Celebrity Cruises, Cosmos, and Avalon as the Cruise Lines International Association.

The socially distanced in-person event will host over 150 people at the Birmingham Conference & Events Centre on 21 August.
