British man jailed in Singapore for not wearing face mask

A British man has been jailed in Singapore for repeatedly flouting mask rules. Benjamin Glynn, 40, was found guilty on four counts of not wearing a mask as well as causing a public nuisance and threats towards public servants. He was jailed for six weeks.

Singapore is known for its strict enforcement of Covid rules which has led to prison terms and large fines for foreigners, while others had their work permits cancelled and deported.
