Advantage Travel Partnership reports surge in new members

The Advantage Travel Partnership consortium of independent travel agents says it has receive a bumper 40% increase in membership enquiries year on year.

It says there has been growth in conversions of Advantage Managed Services (AMS) and home working members.

Kelly Cookes, Leisure Director, Advantage Travel Partnership said: "We are especially seeing an increase in enquiries and subsequent conversions of AMS members. Our AMS product is unique in the market-place with all customer monies protected in trust and a franchise ATOL option."

Advantage members enjoy marketing support and a full programme of engagement events.

Sincef the Covid crisis, the consortium has increased communication with members, and provided supportive webinars to tackle issues ranging from refunds to reopenings.

It actively lobbied Government and given the travel agent a voice via national and regional media channels on issues such as furlough, the traffic light system and testing requirements.
