Norwegian Cruise Line drops cover charge for Asian restaurants

Norwegian Cruise Line said many of its Asian dining venues fleetwide can now be enjoyed on a complimentary basis.

As a part of the ongoing Norwegian NEXT program the cover charge and à la carte pricing at several Asian restaurants is being waived indefinitely while the line upgrades the overall dining experience and offers more options.

Complimentary venues include Shanghai's Noodle Bar on Norwegian Breakaway Class ships and the Norwegian Epic, Jasmine Garden aboard Norwegian Jade, Chin Chin aboard Norwegian Jewel and Orchid Garden on Norwegian Gem for Freestyle cruising guests.

"Norwegian's Freestyle Dining is the most fun and flexible way for guests to enjoy some of the best dining experiences at sea, when they want and how they want," said Andy Stuart, chief operating officer of Norwegian Cruise Line.

"We are thrilled to continue that legacy by providing guests with more of the food they have come to love and enjoy with the introduction of fleetwide complimentary Asian cuisine."

The line's sushi restaurants will still have a la carte pricing and Teppanyaki restaurants will continue with a per guest cover charge, Norwegian said.
