Delta Air Lines to offer all in-flight entertainment free

Delta Air Lines is now touting itself as the only airline offering its entire library of in-flight entertainment free of charge.
Starting July 1, up to 300 movies and 750 TV shows will be available for free on Wi-Fi enabled aircraft on domestic and international flights.
"Our content library leads the industry in terms of depth and breadth...it's not just free, but there is something for everyone," said Delta spokeswoman Liz Savadelis.
"We are the only airline offering entirely free entertainment for all customers," said Savadelis.
Delta says it will be available on about 90% of its fleet, as the remainder are smaller regional planes not equipped with Wi-Fi.
Currently only a portion of its content is free on domestic flights.
"The only thing better than operating the world's largest in-flight entertainment-equipped fleet is providing it free to all our guests," said Tim Mapes, Delta chief marketing officer.
"Our commitment is to provide Delta customers with the industry's best on-board services - period."
