Year-long free entry to nation parks for Canada 150

It is not just the low Looney making Canada an attractive vacation destination.
Throughout 2017 all visitors will get free access to national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites.
Free year-long entry marks a year of celebration for Canada's 150th birthday and is just one aspect of a huge events program lasting all year.
It adds up to free entry at 171 locations nationwide including 47 national parks in all 13 provinces.
One free Discovery Pass is good for one vehicle regardless of number of occupants compared to the normal $7 fee per person.
It doesn't cover most other activities within the parks such as camping fees and park ranger led tours.
The nation has been designated the top travel destination for 2017 by travel publications Lonely Planet and Condé Naste Traveler.
