HotelPlanner partners with DocuSign for instant group contracting

Global group hotel booking provider HotelPlanner has launched an Instant Contracting tool enabling hotels to digitally manage and acquire signatures for group booking contracts through their HotelPlanner extranet using DocuSign Inc's eSignature solution.

In an industry first, HotelPlanner has created a web based merge tool which manages all types of group contracting for hotels of all sizes.

The service has been launched with hotel partner Bellagio Las Vegas and HotelPlanner will roll out the service worldwide as part of its main technology package.

There is no additional charge to use the new contracting capabilities for hotels or clients when groups are processed via HotelPlanner or sister site

"Now the administrative time needed to execute a group contract will be reduced from weeks to minutes, allowing sales people to focus more time on selling business and delivering customer service rather than chasing paper," said Tim Hentschel, CEO of HotelPlanner.

The Instant Contracting application can store multiple contracts to be stored, and lets multiple users from the same hotel access them.

"Bellagio books a large amount of groups with HotelPlanner and Instant Contracting will make it faster and easier for our sales teams to close on group bookings," said Shelly Cruz, Bellagio director of sales.

"The technology will increase our percentage of wins because we can respond to customer needs quickly."
