Four Seasons coming to Minneapolis

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has partnered with developer United Properties to bring a new Four Seasons hotel to downtown Minneapolis.

Slated for a 2022 opening, it will feature 222 guestrooms as well as 31 full service branded residences.

It forms part of the mixed-use RBC Gateway within a 37-story tower with construction expected to begin this year.

It rises to more than 500 feet, and will be one of the top-10 tallest buildings in the city.

It is sited on land that once housed the Nicollet Hotel.

Planned amenities include a spa, pool deck, restaurant and bar, and comprehensive event space.

"Our partners at United Properties have envisioned a new luxury focal point in Minneapolis and we look forward to helping them bring that vision to life," said Bart Carnahan, EVP of global business development and portfolio management.
