Expedia in online travel deal with John Lewis

Expedia Private Label has struck its first deal with a non-travel retailer to offer online travel services.

The company is a partner in developed by Waitrose parent John Lewis Partnership as a direct service business offering a range of travel, financial and leisure services.

Dynamic packaging will be provided through Expedia as travel partner for the new site.

Expedia Private Label managing director Karen Bohannon said: “Expedia Private Label is pleased to offer the John Lewis Partnership the levels of expertise and industry knowledge that they needed from a travel partner for the launch of this exciting new venture. 

“As importantly, we offer the widest range of travel options, combined with the levels of support that a John Lewis or Waitrose customer has come to expect from those brands.  A Greenbee customer can be sure that their booking is carried out with the highest quality, security, and service standards in the travel industry – and therefore John Lewis Partnership can be confident that the Expedia Private Label partnership will enhance their strong consumer brands.”
