eTurboNews and TravelMole Strengthen Ties

Combining to bring the industry closer together and more sustainable

Los Angeles (August 29, 2007) – Two of the travel industry’s leading names in online global travel news once again combine their resources to bring the industry closer together and sustainable through the newly formed TravelMole eTurbo News Events.

TravelMole eTurbo News Events (TENE) is a new unique online service which facilitates travel and tourism industry professionals to follow and participate in the important issues and initiatives industry stakeholder organizations and conference/event organizers undertake.

eTurbo News and TravelMole have both been active supports of dozens of travel and tourism industry conferences and exhibitions through out the world. These include major international events organized by Reed Exhibitions (WTM, London, EITBM, Barcelona); ITB, Berlin; etc.; UNWTO conference series, WTTC Global Travel & Tourism Summit…as well as more specialized or regional events that include Pow Pow; PATA Mart; various sustainable tourism events, etc.

The TENE join venture leverages TravelMole’s unique interactive approach and related internet technology which enables travel and tourism industry professionals to be active remote participants in industry issues, initiatives and events.

Thomas Steinmetz, eTurbo News Group Publisher said, "Our bi-directional platform for the exchange of information, opinions and Q&A through eNewsletters, web sites, videos, web and phone conference, and podcasts at our scale of 700,000 global travel and tourism industry professionals, covering dozens of important industry organizations, events, issues, and initiatives is truly a Web 2.0 solution, whose prospect for positively impacting industry, is quite exiting." Thomas added, "I applaud our TravelMole partner for the innovation and proof of concept."

"People’s interest and need to expand their professional knowledge and network goes much further than the few conferences or associations they have time or financial resources but to be part of.", said Charles Kao, Group Publisher for TravelMole. • Congratulation on your new educational outreach

I couldn't agree more on the need for ongoing professional development, education and relationship building with global tourism peers. Travel Business Success.com Radio Podcast has been getting positive comments offering much of the same for over a year. Keep up the good work.
