Trafalgar Uniworld river cruises recognised by Conde Nast Traveler

Trafalgar’s river cruise partner company Uniworld has been voted 6th Best Small Ship in the prestigious US Conde Nast Traveler Top 100 Readers’ Choice Awards announced recently.

The results are derived from the largest independent poll of consumers’ preferences, the Readers’ Choice Survey, which ranks second in size only to the U.S. census. With a record number of more than 28,000 travellers voting this year, the list demonstrates an enormous global variety and depth.

Paul McGrath, managing director of Trafalgar Uniworld said, “Trafalgar Uniworld is honoured to receive this recognition by the readers of US Conde Nast Traveler magazine. It is testament to the quality product we have established over time, with more than 90 years shared experience between Trafalgar and Uniworld contributing to our product’s exceptional standard today.

“Uniworld’s success in achieving a Top 10 position in this category, will I’m sure influence Australian agents looking for the ultimate in quality, service and luxury for their clients.”

The small ship category is defined as cruise ships that hold fewer than 500 passengers, with cruise lines rated in activities/facilities, cabins, crew/service, design/layout, food/dining, itineraries/ schedule and shore excursions categories.

With luxurious hotel-grade accommodation, impeccable service, outstanding cuisine and exciting diverse on-shore excursions, Trafalgar Uniworld has created an experience of lasting quality.

The breadth of Trafalgar Uniworld’s cruises is unparalleled, in addition to 18 itineraries cruising the popular Danube, Rhine and Moselle Rivers, there are three options in France, two cruises along the Volga River in Russia, and one itinerary along the Douro River in Portugal and Spain.

The Trafalgar Uniworld “floating five-star hotel” concept represents the ultimate way to discover the fascinating sights and cultural wonders of Europe in complete luxury. It is the result of combining the expertise of the award winning luxury five star hotel collection, Red Carnation Hotels, Uniworld’s 30 years European river cruising experience and Trafalgar’s 60 years experience providing first-class escorted holidays around the world.

The price of all Trafalgar Uniworld river cruises includes all meals onboard the vessel, wine during dinner, shore excursions, state-of-the-art Quietvox audio headset system on all locally guided shore excursions, Captain’s welcome and farewell dinner, enriching onboard entertainment and lectures, an experienced Cruise Manager and English speaking crew and transfers.
