The first luxury Marriott to enter the state of Minnesota, the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America®, is on track to open November 21, 2015 at 2141 Lindau Lane in Bloomington, Minnesota. With direct access to the Mall of America as part of the $325 million expansion project, it is a ground-up, 14-story, 342 room hotel, reflecting the highest level of luxury accommodations in the state with unique style and grand design.
Details about the 342 rooms include: 170 queen/queens, 151 Kings, 20 King Suites and 1 Hospitality Suite. There will be a 15,414 sq. ft. grand ballroom, which divides into 8 separate rooms and a 518 sq. ft. boardroom which brings the meeting space up to nearly 20,000 sq. feet in total.
The hotel amenities will include a luxurious full-service restaurant and bar with the restaurant slated to be upscale French American cuisine with an outdoor patio. A grand lobby with a lobby bar, fitness center, pool, executive lounge and underground parking round out the hotel offerings.
