Bali airport reopens

Flights from Bali's international airport have resumed following three days of disruption caused by a volcanic ash cloud.

However, officials are warning that the airport might have to close again if the wind changes direction, blowing ash from nearby Mount Agung into the flight path.

Up to 60,000 tourists - including an estimated 3,000 Britons - were stranded on the island when the volcano began to erupt on Monday.

Around 100,000 people were urged to evacuate from a 10 km exclusion zone.
