Travel Counsellors scale Snowdon to raise money for Reuben's Retreat

A team of over 40 Travel Counsellors and head office employees came together at the weekend to conquer Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon, to raise money for the company's charity partner, Reuben's Retreat.

The 'Snowdon Sunraise' commenced in the early hours of Sunday morning at 2am and saw climbers reaching the mountain's summit in time to watch the sunrise, before descending back down the challenging terrain.

The climb has raised over £7,000 so far in sponsorship for Reuben's Retreat, with more funds coming through from supporters.

The event follows a series of ongoing activity and support from the business to raise funds and awareness for Reuben's Retreat, helping the charity to reach its goals in renovating the Glossop-based retreat to provide respite for families with seriously poorly children and those that have been bereaved of a child.

Travel Counsellors has also donated a number of breaks away to those supported by the charity.
