Travellanda appoints sales managers

Wholesale travel company, Travellanda, has appointed two new sales and business development managers.

Carrie Lo Sze Wai will be responsible for growing Travellanda's business in Asia, mostly in China, and Levin De Melo will cover India, the Middle East, UK, US, Portugal and Brazil.

The company expects to grow Asia-Pacific sales by 30% from 2017 levels to £15 million and Levin and his team have been set a 19% increase to £13.3 million in his region.

Overall, Travellanda is aiming for 25% year on year growth, which would take 2018 revenues to £76.4 million.

Lo Sze Wai previously worked for Gateway, Pacific Leisure, Miki and, latterly, JacTravel.

Levin has worked travel sales, marketing and general management roles in India and Dubai, most notably for Destinations Unlimited, Sunny Tours, DTTS, Alshamel Holidays and GTA, before moving to London to work for Global DMC.~
