YouTuber jailed for active shooter prank at Disney hotel

A YouTuber's social experiment at a Walt Disney World hotel has landed him in jail.

Dillion Burch from Arizona pranked guests at Walt Disney World's Contemporary Resort into believing there was an active shooter in the hotel and the property was on lockdown.

It was just a hoax so he could get reactions from guests for his YouTube channel, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

After being approached by a hotel manager Burch admitted he planned to record people's reactions.

The hotel notified police and when they arrived a 'highly intoxicated' Burch made a run for it.

He was soon found hiding among bushes in the hotel grounds.

Burch pleaded no contest to charges of disturbing the peace and disorderly intoxication and was jailed for three days.

He was also banned from all Walt Disney World properties.

  • Punishment TOO Light!

This @-hole is very fortunate he got off with 3 days in jail and such ridiculous charges. His pranking self should be UNDER the jail for a LONG time. This is is absolutely NOT "funny" in ANY respect.
