TravelMole launches golf tournament in Dom Rep

TravelMole has announced the launch of a travel industry golf tournament at the Casa de Campo resort in Dominican Republic in November.

The Travel Industry Golf Tournament will be a pairs competition based around the Stableford scoring system on full handicap but with a maximum handicap allowance of 18 for men and 28 for women.

Competitors will be expected to fund their own airfares to Punta Cana on November 15 with return booked for November 20.

Whilst out-of-pocket expenses and airfares will be at the competitors expense, all golf and lodging will be complimentary, based on a shared room basis.

Competitors will play three rounds of golf on Friday, Saturday and Monday on three Pete Dye-designed courses.

The final round will be played on the world-famous Teeth of the Dog course, voted one of the best in the world with the sea, sand and surf as constant companions.

Other sports available include a polo and equestrian centre, sport shooting, 13 tennis courts, as well as a full-service marina.

Sunday will be one of the highlights of the tour as the group will be taken to a nearby island for some swimming, snorkelling and a beach barbecue.

The field is limited to 32 and final entries must be received by July 30 2018.

Casa de campo is represented in the UK by Resort Marketing who can assist with any trade enquires.
