BA's low-cost sister airline launches holiday packages

British Airways' sister carrier Vueling Airlines has teamed up with Expedia to offer package holidays for the first time.

Expedia Partner Solutions will power Vueling Holidays' site using a white-label online template and it will give passengers access to Expedia Group's supply of more than 500,000 hotels in more than 25,000 destinations.

Vueling Holidays said it's aim is to expand its travel packages in the future to include activities and experiences.

Digital director Samuel Lacarta said: "At Vueling, one of our main objectives is to provide a great customer experience from booking right through to in-destination activities.

"By launching Vueling Holidays, collaborating with EPS, we've been able to make planning and booking a holiday more seamless and can now offer great package deals at competitive prices to help our customers get more for their money."

EPS president Ariane Gorin said: "With more than 20 years at the leading edge of travel technology, our global network of dedicated experts is well-placed to support Vueling in the launch and expansion of its new package holiday platform."

Vueling Holidays is currently available in the UK, Spain and Italy.
