Longest waterslide at sea unveiled by Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean has unveiled the world's longest waterslide at sea.

The Blaster, an 800-foot aqua-coaster that propels people in two-man rafts, is one of the new features planned for the $115 million makeover of Navigator of the Seas.

The ship, due to be re-launched on February 24, will also feature To Dry For, the first standalone blow dry bar at sea, Planet Z glow in the dark laser tag, and The Observatorium, Royal Caribbean's escape room.

There are also new dining concepts including Tasty Mexican street food at El Loco Fresh and Rustic Italian dishes at Jamie's Italian.

The ship will be the first to visit Royal Caribbean's new private island in The Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay, which opens in May and will have the tallest waterslide in North America and The Caribbean's largest freshwater pool.
