Central Holidays reports more than 40 percent growth in 2019 bookings

Central Holidays' 2019 booking volume is on a high, reporting year-over-year growth of 43%.

The company also shared details on current trending destinations.

Demand for Italy and Greece vacations continue to grow and sees a marked increase for France.

Central Holidays says there has been a big increase in Egypt bookings.

It is well placed to meet the growing demand thanks to backing from parent company Sakkara Group International, which owns and operates a fleet of Nile River cruise vessels, hotels and resorts in the country.

SGI maintains offices and destination management services throughout Egypt.

"The outlook for travel in 2019 is very positive and the travel industry should certainly be looking forward to even greater things to come," said Tewfik Ghattas, SGI board member.

The company is introducing new initiatives that cater to travel advisors and their clients, Gattas said, and will launch new Latin America programs focused on culture, food and experiences.
