CLIA reveals ships for River Cruise Conference

Agents will be invited to visit four ships at this year's CLIA River Cruise Conference in Amsterdam.

CLIA has confirmed the ships are: A-ROSA's A-Rosa Flora, Amadeus River Cruises' MS Amadeus Silver III, CroisiEurope's MS Douce France and Crystal Cruises' Crystal Bach.

The event, on November 10-11, will also see agents dine and stay overnight on Sunday November 10 onboard either A-Rosa Flora or MS Douce France.

The conference will also include conference sessions at the Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre, a trade fair and networking opportunities.

"For agents who are serious about building their river cruise business and want to learn more about this fantastically diverse and exciting sector of the industry, the annual CLIA River Cruise Conference is not to be missed," said Andy Harmer, CLIA UK & Ireland director.

"Being the only event of its kind in the world, delegates will hear directly from industry experts and learn about the latest selling tips, innovations and trends. As this sector constantly evolves, agents selling this type of holiday can really benefit from the variety of choice that is on offer, and it's important that they are able to stay informed about this industry by experiencing the ships and hearing from experts firsthand."

CLIA has also launched three new river cruise fact sheets available to CLIA travel agent members.

The fact sheets include information on key embarkation ports and sights along the Danube, Rhine and other French rivers and can be accessed on
