FCO warns of more protest disruption in Hong Kong

Further travel disruption is expected in Hong Kong this weekend as more protests are planned.

The Foreign Office issued a warning to travellers that large protests are planned at the airport, at the British Consulate-General Hong Kong and around Charter Garden in Central District.

The Airport Authority Hong Kong said there have been calls for attempts to block traffic to the airport on Sunday.

"Passengers are advised to allow sufficient time to travel to the airport. Passengers may also check with their respective airlines, or visit the airport's website and 'HKG My Flight' mobile app for updated flight information," it added.
