Visit Detroit and Pure Michigan Host the Trade at Highclere Castle

Guests included key trade and media partners who enjoyed a champagne reception, tour of the beautiful house and a wonderful four course dinner. The iconic Ford Motel T cars, that feature in the TV series, were built in Detroit and some of them were then showcased at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House at Lake St Clair in Michigan.

It was hosted by Larry Alexander, President and CEO of Visit Detroit, Renee Monforton, Director, Marketing and Communications, David Beachnau, Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Sports and Jennifer Ollinger, Manager, International Marketing, who arrived at the castle in a fleet of branded Detroit black taxi cabs. These will be visible around London over the next few weeks.

Guests included Dnata, Delta Airlines, If Only and MPV Travel. Larry Alexander commented: "We were delighted to co-sponsor the evening at Highclere Castle, as a thank you to the travel industry for helping to significantly increase international visitation year-on-year."
