TravelMole selects Missing People as charity partner

TravelMole has made Missing People its chosen charity partner and will be supporting with appeals, raising awareness and fundraising.

TravelMole has already raised more than £5,000 for the charity.

Missing People provides 24/7 free and confidential advice and support via its helpline for people who have gone missing, those who are thinking of going missing and their families.

The London-based charity also puts out appeals for missing people via social and conventional media, undertakes research and campaigns to keep missing issues on the political agenda.

TravelMole editor in chief Bev Fearis said: "With our global reach, and with an audience of well-travelled professionals from all sectors of the travel industry, a partnership with Missing People made total sense.

"We are ideally placed to share their appeals across the world through our online newswires. The charity does incredible work in reuniting people with their loved ones, and we are immensely proud to be supporting their efforts."

Alex Livingstone, Missing People's corporate partnerships manager, said: "TravelMole's support is fantastic and they have already raised vital funds which help us to continue to search across the UK for missing people and be there for the one million people affected by a loved one's disappearance every year.

"TravelMole will also enable us to reach a new audience, sharing our appeals to communities across the world. We look forward to working with them."
