Flight attendant arrested after loaded gun found in carry-on

A Frontier Airlines flight attendant was arrested on firearms charges after bringing a loaded gun in his carry-on bag.

The gun was discovered by Orlando Airport TSA screeners in the bag of Joseph Brozyna, 28 when he arrived to work a flight.

According to an arrest affidavit, Brozyna forgot the loaded gun was still in his bag.

He was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed firearm and carrying a firearm in a place prohibited by law after police determined his gun permit had expired.

Frontier Airlines said they suspended him and are conducting their own internal investigation.

"We are investigating the matter and will take further actions, as appropriate. We have a zero tolerance policy for any violation of law or security protocols," the airline said in a statement.

TSA officials said it was the 82st gun discovered at the airport this year.
