Norwegian unveils Silver Cove Villas at Great Stirrup Cay

Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled its new villa 'resort' on its Bahamas private island Great Stirrup Cay.

Called Silver Cove, the oceanfront resort style area features 38 villas, a Mandara Spa, and Silver Cove Restaurant and Bar.

It is part of the Norwegian Edge upgrade program.

The villas are in studio, one and two-bedroom configurations, with a bathroom, daybed, TV and outdoor patio.

They all offer private beach access.

"We were the very first in the industry to have a private island. Today, we are providing our guests with a preview of how Great Stirrup Cay is evolving and showcasing our vision for the future," said Norwegian Cruise Line president and CEO Andy Stuart.

Great Stirrup Cay also has cabanas, nearly a dozen food and beverage options and a wide variety of shore excursions and activities.
